We want to provide Full-Ride Scholarships, Grants, and Graduate Research Grants to Deserving Students in Need.
Why work with us
The MERITS Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit that aims to provide full-ride scholarships, grants, and graduate research grants to deserving and needing students. MERITS stands for Math, Engineering, Research, Information, Technology, and Science. We will empower students and reward students by making these fields cool again. Our annual Live-Streamed Awards show will feature our awardees and giants in the fields. Moreover, we will tie all of these together with current pop-culture trends and show how they wouldn't be possible without the science and technology that make them possible.
DAO Governed Voting
We utilize a decentralized autonomous organization to vote on deserving candidates. Our DAO is full of Professors and Professionals in each field. Moreover, with a DAO we can maintain integrity in our voting so that no favoritism is given to candidates.
Transparent Financials
Unlike others, we will never hide our financials. While we understand that there will always be operational costs we want it out there for the world to see. We believe so much in making sure the money goes to our awardees that we cap the pay of all employees including the C-Suite.
On the Cutting Edge
We want to make the sciences cool again. So we use all of the latest gadgets, tools, and methods to promote the sciences. We want to be the new Grammy and the new Emmy. Our awards show will be a red carpet, star-studded, and technology-laden extravaganza.

This nonprofit has been a lifelong dream. I have been passionate about science and technology since I crawled out of bed at 5 yrs. old to watch "StarTrek".

What You’ll Get
You can get involved in many different ways. We are looking for companies to sponsor awards and will name the award after you with 100% of the proceeds going to the awardee. We need sponsors for our award show to cover expenses both at the show and for operations you'll receive sponsorship ads, banners, and so much more. We are also seeking donors to the nonprofit for future events, productions, operations, and fundraising where you will be featured as a donor. Most of all we just want to make science and technology cool again and anything you can do to help is appreciated!
